Our Next Energy (ONE):
Launch Video
Garbanzo teamed up with ONE to create a 3D explainer video for Aries Grid, a utility-scale battery system made with U.S.-built LFP batteries.
Delivering over 2 minutes of photoreal 3D animation, Garbanzo focused on bringing precisely engineered parts (in a wide variety of scales) to life.
Google shopping Campaigns: UI screens
Garbanzo had the privilege to collaborate with the talented teams at BBH USA, to create interpretative UI animations for their Google Shopping campaigns for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022. The work consisted of animating various UI screens across 6 short films.
“Shades” (shown here) received tens of millions of views on YouTube, and was the best performing TV campaign of 2021 for Google.

For CES 2020, AI startup Blaize hired Garbanzo to demonstrate the technical features of their new automotive AI processor. Loving a technical challenge, our creative team worked hand in hand with their Director of Engineering to storyboard a highly technical 3-minute explainer video.

Power Integrations is a Silicon Valley-based supplier of high-performance components used in high-voltage power conversion. If you’ve used an Apple or Anker charger, you’ve used their product!
Garbanzo assisted Power in creating glossy high tech looking adapters in 3D, that would not infringe on the design of licensees’ products (Apple, Anker, etc).
Universal robots:

Universal Robots is a Danish manufacturer of smaller flexible industrial collaborative robot arms, based in Odense, Denmark.
Garbanzo was asked to develop a new logo animation to be used in all of their marketing materials.
ONE + BMW:
Teaser video
Garbanzo joined forces with the team at ONE to create a 3D teaser animation for the launch of their upcoming Gemini battery platform for BMW. Garbanzo was responsible for the neon line look dev and animation.

Our product/service is highly technical/abstract. How can we make it engaging?
We love technical design and animation! Our team regularly tackles complex ideas, and presents them in a simple, understandable, yet exciting way. Specifically, there are 2 opportunities here:
First, is going from script to storyboard. We think visually, and can present your idea in the most exciting manner possible.
Second, is styleframe design. This is where our artists envision your product or service, and then paint moments in time they foresee from the final video. Think of these as beautiful illustrations or 3D pictures, that will be brought to life later in animation.
We need this by next Friday! Can you do it?
Doubtful. On average, a typical 2-3 minute explainer video takes us atleast 1 month to complete. Location or studio shoots, extensive editing, and/or complex 2D or 3D animation can extend the schedule to 2+ months. So please schedule accordingly.
We can deliver faster by allocating more resources to your project, but this may impact price.
How much will this cost?
The million dollar question!
We work with a wide range of clients and budgets:
$10k and under: Sometimes, you need something quick and dirty – we get it! In this case, you would be better served to utilize the great designers and artists on Fiverr or Upwork. If you are a current or previous client of ours, we are happy to help you find the right person.
$10k – $50k: Typical for standard explainer videos. The wide range is due to project or script complexity, 2D vs 3D animation, and other factors. The good news is every last penny is seen on screen!
$50k to $250k: These projects include extensive location or on set shoots, extensive 2D or 3D animation, and/or many deliverables over a span of months.
$250k+: We would love to tackle projects of this scope and scale! But we understand if you would want to take your project to one of the bigger animation shops: Buck, The Mill, Psyop, Trollback + Co…to name a few! No hard feelings, and we wish you success!
